Absentee Ballots

Absentee Ballots

Primary Elections traditionally have a low voter turn-out. If you are unable to get to the polls on May 19th, please consider applying for and casting an Absentee Ballot.

In order to cast an absentee ballot, you must first request an absentee ballot. You can download the form here.

This request form must be received by the Northampton Office of Elections by 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 12th. It can be filed by mail or in person.

Once you receive your absentee ballot, you must fill it out and send it in to the Office of Elections by 5:00pm on Friday, May 15th (the election is Tuesday, May 19th).

You can request an absentee ballot if you are going to be outside the voting area during the time the polls are open. Your absence can be because you are unavailable due to being at work or because you temporarily reside outside the area.

For more detailed information, you can go to the PA Votes website on Absentee Ballots.

Thank you for voting!
